The first release of 2024!
This release makes some changes to the import process, mostly better interoperability with other photo tools, by adding more XMP support.
I also did quite a significant change in the way CSS is handled. For a long time, dynamic parts of the styling of the page (such as the colour theme and changes in the width of the screen) were handled by PHP. This caused the entire CSS file (which is around 3000 lines long) to be rebuild with every page load. With this change, Zoph uses CSS variables and CSS calculations (both relatively new additions to CSS) to keep track of the dynamic parts of the style, while the majority of the CSS file is now "plain CSS", which can be cached by the browser.
Please report any issues you have via Gitlab issues, I will do my best to resolve them as soon as possible.
The full changelog can be found in the changelog. You can download Zoph from the Gitlab site.
Zoph Docker images are available from Docker Hub and Gitlab.
Finally, I would like to thank Lætitia Delvaux for sponsoring the zoph.org domain. She has been providing Zoph with it's own domain for the past 17 years! The sponsorship has now been taken over by Inftech, which also happens to be my company.
